The Henry Kunkel Society's 20th Annual Meeting, Immunological Memory in Health and Disease, will be held at the Leibniz Conference Hall at the Berlin Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities in Berlin, Germany, Sunday June 3 - Wednesday June 6, 2012.
The meeting will be held as a joint meeting together with the research project IMPAM - Imprinting of the pathogenic memory for rheumatic inflammation (funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research).
The program will include the Henry Kunkel Lecture given by Dr. Louis Staudt and five Symposia covering the following topics:
- What is Immunological Memory?
- Clinical Challenges
- Generation and Maintenance of Memory
- Therapeutic Approaches
- Imprinting of Pathogenic Memory
In addition there will be poster presentations.
With about 300 international participants, the meeting will not only be an outstanding scientific event, but also a great opportunity to meet the international immunological community.

Dr. Louis M. Staudt
The 2012 Henry Kunkel Lecture will be given by Dr. Louis M. Staudt from the National Cancer Institute`s Center for Cancer Research in Bethesda, Maryland on the evening of Monday, June 4th.
